Make It Happen Monday: Getting the Booking Isn’t the Hard Part

Take a look at this funnel.

18K leads turned into 15.6K booked calls.

Pretty good.

But only 8.4K actually showed up. That’s where the real leak is.

And it starts with speed. Research from MIT found that waiting just 10 minutes instead of 5 to respond to a lead can drop your odds of reaching them by about 5x.

Now you might say, “Mark, I answer my leads right away.”

Great... except about 48% come in during nights and weekends.

Then I usually hear, “I have an automated email.”

Okay, but average email open rates are around 31%. SMS or WhatsApp? Around 98%.

This is why automation matters beyond just getting someone to book.

Respond fast. Text them. Keep the conversation going. And once they book, use automated reminders so they actually show up.

Because looking at this funnel, the problem isn’t getting people interested or getting them to book.

It’s getting them to the call.

Make It Happen: Check your booked-to-show rate this week. You might find the biggest opportunity in your business is already sitting on your calendar.

Our free Business Coaching Snapshot is almost ready, and systems like this are built into it.

Business Coach Growth Snapshot

Hey coaches and consultants 👋

I’m putting together a new Business Coach Growth Snapshot for HighLevel and I’d love some feedback from the people who would actually use it.

The goal is to give coaches and consultants a strong starting point instead of having to build everything from scratch.

Right now, the snapshot includes things like:

  • Lead magnet landing page + thank-you page

  • CRM pipeline for tracking leads through consultation, offer, won/lost, and reactivation

  • Lead nurture, appointment reminders, no-show recovery, missed-call text-back, onboarding, review, referral, and reactivation workflows

  • Consultation calendar

  • Conversation AI for lead qualification and booking

  • Voice AI inbound receptionist for answering and booking calls

  • Community / membership portal

  • Free resource library for client training, templates, replays, etc.

  • Optional Plans & Pricing page with example implementation and monthly support offers

  • Example products and payment/subscription workflows

  • Forms for lead capture and applications

  • Custom Values so the snapshot can be easily customized to the coach’s business

One thing I’ve been thinking about a lot while building this is that many coaches already know how to build CRM, automation, AI, follow-up, onboarding, and other systems inside HighLevel, but may not be thinking of that experience as another service they can sell to their own clients.

So I’m trying to make the snapshot useful for both:

1. Running your own coaching/consulting business
2. Giving you examples of services you could potentially package and sell.

What am I missing?

If you’re a coach or consultant, what would you want included in a snapshot like this that would save you time or help you grow?

Drop it below. I’m actively building this now and would love to incorporate real feedback before we finish it.

Make It Happen Monday: There May Be Another Offer Hiding Inside Your Business

I was talking with another coaching client recently who is already selling his expertise and helping other businesses grow.

But during the conversation, something stood out.

He had spent all this time learning the software, building systems, setting up workflows, organizing pipelines, automating follow-up and figuring out how all of these pieces work together.

And he wasn't really thinking of that experience as something he could sell.

The Mess
A lot of coaches and consultants are focused on selling their knowledge.

Strategy. Coaching. Accountability. Advice.

But then the client leaves the call and still has to figure out how to actually implement everything.

The Miss
If you've already learned how to build the systems behind the strategy, that is an asset.

You don't necessarily need to stop coaching.

You can add implementation as another way to serve the client.

Instead of only saying: "Here's what you should do."

You can also say: "And if you want, I can build it for you."

The Move
Start looking at the things you already know how to implement.

Maybe that's:

  • CRM and pipeline setup

  • Lead capture

  • Email and SMS follow-up

  • Calendars and reminders

  • No-show recovery

  • Review campaigns

  • Database reactivation

  • AI conversations

  • Client communities

Then turn those skills into clearly defined offers.

Maybe there's a smaller starter setup.

Maybe there's a more complete implementation.

Maybe there's ongoing monthly support for clients who don't want to manage the system themselves.

Now you've created another revenue stream from expertise you already have.

The Machine
This is actually something we've been working through while building our Business Coaching Snapshot at HighLevel.

We're not only building the lead generation, CRM, automation and client-delivery systems.

We're also looking at how a coach could package those same systems into actual services they can sell.

Because sometimes the next offer isn't something completely new.

It's something you're already doing that you haven't packaged yet.

Make It Happen
What is something you already know how to build or implement that your clients would gladly pay you to take off their plate?
